Past and expired campaigns may continue to appear in search engine results, such as Google, even after the campaign has ended. This is because search engines may retain previously indexed webpages in their search results until their index is updated or the page is removed from the search engine.
Please note that giving.sg is unable to remove or delete ended or expired campaigns from the platform. Campaigns are retained for record-keeping and transparency purposes.
Once a campaign has ended:
- It will no longer appear in the giving.sg search results.
- It will no longer be displayed on the organisation's profile page.
- The campaign page will remain accessible to anyone who has the direct campaign URL.
As search engine results and indexing are managed by Google and other search providers, requests to remove a page from search results should be submitted directly to the relevant search engine.
For Google, you may submit a removal request via the Google Search content removal form: https://support.google.com/websearch/contact/content_removal_form
For further assistance with removing a page from Google search results, please contact Google Support directly.
